Improving Effect of Graphene on Electrochemical Properties of Fe2O3 Anode Materials

Transition metal oxides have a high initial charge-discharge capacity of 800–1000 mAh/g, the electrochemical performance, cyclic performance and rate composite transition oxide graphene been improved due to unique two-dimensional structure excellent electrical conductivity graphene. In this paper, iron materials with different morphs were prepared by hydrothermal reaction temperatures, rGO/Fe2O3-175 °C composites ratios synthesized used in anode lithium ion batteries. The results show that nanorod-shaped Fe2O3 had better than spherical Fe2O3. 0.2rGO/Fe2O3-175 best first discharge reaches 1372 mAh/g under current density 100 mA/g, reversible remained at about 435 after 50 cycles, illustrating nanorods can greatly buffer volume expansion
